While I was back up in Boston over Christmas I picked up a copy of New England Home Magazine. I came across this home designed by Theo & Isabella Design Group and Scott Bell and have been going back to it ever since. I am in love with the black marble used on the cabinet above!
The home was built in 1865 and there was a fire that ruined a lot of the property. Luckily, not every part of the home was lost and Scott Bell (a principal at Theo & Isabella) came in and purchased it with his partner. They took on the renovation to make the home their own. Scott has been collecting since he was a child and you can tell based on the gorgeous items found in every single room.
I am in love with the green in this cozy space.
Scott designed this simple mantle himself to display his collection of Wedgwood. The styling in this entire article is perfection!
Turns out this storage unit was a handmade cabinet the designer had in his prior home. They simply transported it to this bathroom for linen storage. Is it not incredible? Paired with the light, that gilded mirror and that casual rug the room is a mix of old and new. I could move in tomorrow.
