So ready to visit Canada

I just recently watched Sarah's House on HGTV. The episode consisted of Sarah looking to purchase a home that she can totally makeover. Let's just say this show may be a BIT addicting. Turns out Sarah Richardson lives in Canada (as does one of my other favorites, Candice Olson) and she's very talented. Here's a bit of her work that I love. Be sure to check out her show if you can!

This room, I could move in tomorrow.

I dream of having my own washer and dryer. Is that strange?

Loving the tile on the backsplash...

Hello stripes...these chairs, they rock (and so do the walls!).

Love the grey and blue in this room. The wallpaper really adds that extra touch...notice all the stripes she's not afraid to use? A great addition!

it is DEFINITELY not strange to dream of having your own washer and dryer! what I wouldn't give to be able to toss a load of laundry in at my convenience!

great portfolio--thanks for the share!

and thanks so much for stopping by today and for your sweet comment :)

xo!

HGTV Canada has had so many great shows over the years that HGTV America has slowly adopted. Sometimes, I wish they'd just give us the same shows as our northern neighbors have!

One of things I like about Sarah's House is that she's a "high and low" type. She shops at Ikea and thrift stores...then reuphulsters like crazy. She's go a great, down to earth, shopping style.

For the longest time I wanted my own washer and dryer too! I laughed when I read that, I always thought I was weird for feeling that way too. Now that I'm living with my boyfriend, he has his own. Needless to say sometimes I find excuses to wash things just so I can go through the process and use my vanilla-lavender dryer sheets.
I love your blog! Gorgeous photos. Just discovered you on The City Sage (by the comment you left). Hope you'll pass by for a visit!

I adore the nursery and that could be the best looking laundry room i've ever seen!

Enjoy Boston's "warm" weather!

This house is simply stunning. She incorporated stripes so well into her home and that bathroom is my favorite!

Oh, they're all so pretty... I love the pastel color palette. My favorite is the living room and the nursery. What a perfect crib for a cute baby boy.

So you must be the other Emily that I often see commenting on these design blogs :) Glad I finally found your blog. Love these pics. Isn't Sarah Richardson the best? My favorite were those alphabet letters she had cut out for the nursery. Great show!

I wonder if my laundry room will ever look like that... I guess I should work on the main living spaces first :) Lovely photos!
